She has been Certified in Telehealth, Grief Counseling, and Trauma..
She earned her master’s degree in counseling from California State University in Fullerton, and her undergraduate degree In Interpersonal Communication with an emphasis in Psychology from the University of Colorado.
Janice has worked with a broad spectrum of culturally diverse populations that include adults, adolescents, children, and families. The venues have included military installations (worldwide), homeless shelters for women and teens, community mental health centers, private practice, family services, along with a mental health crisis center.
Within these settings she has worked with the kind of personal problems and challenges that so many of us face daily -- that are at once shared as part of our common humanity and yet are uniquely and individually our own.
